Barnes Place Experiences Party Burst

BARNES PLACE (ATLANTA, GEORGIA) - Barnes Place experienced a Party Burst ­ a rapid change in atmospheric conditions brought on by hardy partying last night during Bring It!, a Back-to-School Pep Rally and School Supply Drive. About 50 revelers donated 14,704 supply items, which will be passed on to the Kids In Need program of the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

The supplies collected consisted of:

  • 12 wedge erasers
  • 6 mini staplers
  • 6 pencil sharpeners
  • 40 ballpoint pens
  • 183 ounces of glue in 45 bottles
  • 28 paint brushes
  • 2 water color kits
  • 9 highlighters
  • 8 markers
  • 3 packages of tape
  • 500 paper clips
  • 7 mechanical pencils
