Barnes Place Wakes Up to Eight Inches Amazing Eight-Inch Photos Posted On-Line
BARNES
PLACE (ATLANTA, GA) -- When Barnes Place co-directors woke up
Thursday morning, they had an eight-inch problem. The snow which
had begun to fall at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, didn't putter out until
24 hours later when it had dumped eight inches of accumulation
on Barnes Place. Some areas of Atlanta saw only four inches of
snow, while others saw significantly more.
Most of Atlanta was closed for the day as the city began to
thaw around the lunch hour. Tonight, most roads are clear, however
the wet pavement is expected to freeze making Friday morning's
rush hour difficult.
While tomorrow promises to bring sun and warmer temperatures,
another moisture-loaded low pressure system is expected to move
into the area on Sunday. This time, however, it's expecting to
bring freezing rain.
Amazing eight-inch photos of of the snow have been posted
on Barnes Place.com. Direct your browser to http://www.barnesplace.com/hobbies/photography/snow/.
