Gallery of Lost Dishes - 001-005

Left at Long John's 2nd Birthday Party

Dish 001

A lovely blue bowl, suitable for dip or munchies. Ceramic.

"Hello...this is Andrew and yes....dish 001 and 003 are both mine. How embarrassing! HMM....maybe had a bit too much to drink that night. I seem to remember bringing these rolled up things (in 003) with meat and cheese in them and had salsa in the middle with 001. I'll get them the next time I see you guys. Smile." -- CLAIMED, January 1999

Dish 002

A wood bowl suitable for lettuce or other cold salads.

Dish 003

A platter with a floral design on the rim. Suitable for carved meats and steamed vegetables.

We're very pleased this dish, as well as 001, have been claimed. It didn't even occur to us the two might go together. However, we now see how it worked with superior visual presentation: a blue dip bowl in the middle with some meat and cheese things adorning it. -- CLAIMED, January 1999

Dish 004

We are assuming these two glass plates are together because of the matching patterns.

Dish 004

This is a close-up of the pattern on the two dishes.

Dish 005

This cut glass platter is perfect to use for a spread of veggies.

"I believe 005 is mine from Long John's birthday party. It didn't house veggies that night; instead it served as a sushi plate." -- CLAIMED, May 10, 1999 by Warren

After months of mystery, this dish now has a home.
