Caught up on
Flickr Updates today. Yesterday, we headed out to Plano, Illinois, to visit the Farnsworth House. It was designed in 1951 by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1951. While it’s an architectural marvel, it’s the story of the relationship between van der Rohe and the home’s owner Dr. Edith Farnsworth. Was it about the design of the home, for the interaction they shared? I snapped an
entire photoset, staring the house.
I also was able to snap
some shots of the cloud formations we flew over when I came back from an event in San Francisco. The shot I pulled out here is actually of Runway 14R at O’Hare as we came in for landing.
Finally,
Mom came to Chicago in June. We hit up the Sears Skydeck and an architectural boat cruise. From the Sears Tower, I snapped a shot of our building.
