I love this. Thank you.
I am a psychiatrist working on an acute inpatient unit at a state facility. Several days ago, a very psychotic man came towards me rather oddly repeating "Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise..." over and over again, making a beeline for me as I scooted behind the plexiglass to safety. Guess he was off his vitamins and exercise regimen.
In the immediate moment I thought he mistook me for Mr. Cruise--we do have the same coloring and hair though I am female-- but then I remembered Top Gun's spat with Brooke.
