Procrastinating

Seriously, I can find anything to do simply to push off the homework. I need to be spending time turning this into a book. In general, it’s going okay. But some mornings, I just roll out of bed and find that doing things like sorting and alphabetizing my bookmarks takes a priority. In fact, I spent last night not out on the town, not having a cocktail, but creating subcategories for the porn links. Thirteen of them. Subcategories, that is. Now that’s important stuff.

This morning I did the same to all the bookmarks for blog links. Which or course meant catching up on the reading. And which then transfers into mourning the demise of some of my favorites. Some folks have decided they have shared way too much of their life, and so therefore, stop blogging. I agree with Jef, that blogging has changed my life. It’s enriched it. And the challenge is in writing from the heart, with honesty, integrity, and fairness.

Which is what I need to be doing with my homework.
