    Kook Doctors

I had a return visit to the Kook Doctor last night. He reviewed my vitamin and supplement routine, and upped it by a third. Also added some drops from an eyedropper I’m supposed to put on my tongue. Something about they replace the sun, and help stimulate some natural process in our bodies that is triggered by sunlight. Says it’s been shown to get people off Prozac.

Thank goodness! The first time I went to see him, he ordered me on the Caveman Diet. "If a caveman didn't eat it, then you can't either," he said. The exception, he said, was one 24-hour period a month, when I could eat or drink anything I wanted to. Well, unable to get anywhere near one 24-hour period a month, my self-esteem was beginning to suffer. I can't accomplish anything, I began to think to myself.

So last night, as he's jumping my bones, and we're talking about challenges, I point out that I need to refocus on my diet. "Well, just limit your binging to one 24-hour period a week." A WEEK! I thought it was a month! I totally can do that.

In addition to the anti-Prozac drip, I’m taking 17 vitamins and supplements over the course of the day now as I recommit to once a week binging on delicacies like potato chips, or pasta. The irony is that I’ve gone the holistic route in an effort to avoid taking one daily pill, and to do this, I'm taking 17. Although, it is working. Thank goodness for Kook Doctors.
